Our client is the voice of dentists and dental students in the UK. They bring dentists together, support their members through advice and education, and represent their interests. This is a challenging and dynamic period for dentistry and the company is recruiting an Associate Director of Advisory Services.
Job Role
This is a full-time post that will be based at our client's offices in Central London. As a member of the company's senior management team, the post holder will be responsible for contributing to strategic development and operational delivery of the company's activity, and in particular its advisory services to members, including the maintenance of individual support and advice and development of content for a range of advisory material and products, published through a variety of media. The role will include reviewing the scope and manner of delivery of the full range of the company's member advisory services. It is responsible for coordinating and analysing advice to members on all relevant aspects of EU and UK law and regulations, maintaining a thorough knowledge of those affecting the dental profession. The post holder will line manage a number of advisory service team managers.

The successful candidate should be a strategic thinker; have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and command respect among a team of experts and deal convincingly with senior stake holders; have a knowledge of a range of business advice areas and the ability to lead a diverse team; the ability to respond to a changing environment and contribute to strategies for membership recruitment, retention and growth.
