The Image Centre Hair and Beauty Department are looking for a full time Salon Reception Lead to cover Maternity Leave.
You need to be qualified to L3 standard or equivalent, with experience in either or hairdressing or beauty therapy.
We are looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, customer focused, organised and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
It is important that this individual has a strong work ethic, is reliable and possess good time keeping skills.
Duties include:
- To assist with monitor salon budgets and develop innovative opportunities for income generation.
- To assist with ordering, purchase and control of equipment and materials.
- To oversee the appointment booking system for hair and beauty clients and other commercial areas.
- To participate in the development of promotional and marketing activities to include school sampling, taster days and marketing events.
- To be a designated first aider and be responsible for the health and safety procedures in the hair and beauty salons including overseeing skin tests, risk assessments and COSHH records
