Resource and Capability Lead
Would you like to join a new and exciting Function and support the Operations teams across Land (UK)? This role can be based from Telford, Glascoed, Radway Green or Washington.
We currently have a vacancy for a Resource and Capability Lead within the Land (UK) Operations function who will be responsible for supporting the provision, deployment and development of operations team members. Aligned to Operational Excellence the incumbent will work with both current and future state requirements as we look to develop and expand upon Land (UK)s product and process portfolio..
Land (UK) is a newly formed part of the Programmes and Support business and is in enviable position of being at the start of a growth and transformation programme. In support of these activities a new Function is being established in order to support the Operations community. The Operations Function will support the Integrated Delivery Teams both tactically and strategically through an Operational Excellence programme aimed at improving culture, continuous improvement, enterprise alignment and honouring our customer commitments. ???
This role will provide you with the opportunity to travel across sites. This is a brand new role and part of a new function and business - Land UK. You will be supporting business transformation activities.
Your main responsibilities as a Resource and Capability Lead will involve:
Defining and planning people capability requirements to meet current and future operating environment requirements
Providing Land (UK) Operations with the manufacturing system standard for deployment throughout the breadth of operations
Providing effective support to the operations community on all operations resource, competency and governance matters
Promoting and integrating the Operations brand.
Enhancing the collective culture via the delivery, and continued development of operations events, communication materials and themes
Ensuring the operations function delivers an effective and efficient service to the Land (UK) through the delivery of the KRA's / SOP's and objectives of each element of the Operations Function Strategy and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
Co-ordinate all IBP activities on behalf of the functional team
Your skills and qualifications as a Resource and Capability Lead:
Stakeholder management experience is essential
Knowledge or experience of understanding the business organisation, required skill sets
MS packages skills
Business Management skills
Sound knowledge of manufacturing/ operational and production techniques -- both current state and future capability
Leadership skills
Marketing skills - experience of project managing the forum I.e., conference activities (behaviours with this)
Degree or relevant experience

Salary: GBP34,541 + commensurate on skills and experience
