Job Title: Milk Production Planner

Location: Wickham, Hampshire

Salary: £25,000

Job Description:

Due to expansion of their customer base, they are looking to recruit a Production Planner to work at their Milk Processing site in Wickham, Hants. The position will cover Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday day shifts, working 6am to 4:30pm. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing production schedules to deliver a first class service to the company's clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Production schedules ensuring excellent level of customer service.
• Monitor stock level ensuring closing and opening stock are efficient.
• Working closely with other department within the Supply Chain.
• Ensure schedule accuracy of 100% at all times.
• Plan the day to day activity of the factory through cost effective planning using customer orders and available forecast information.
• Review Production performance throughout the shift to ensure planned requirements will be effectively achieved and manage the consequence of any unforeseen issues.
• Maintain current forecasting tools to plan to the most accurate forecast figures.
• Constant review and updating of Production schedules.
• Co-ordinate and communicate with Production team to ensure plans and any changes in a timely and effective manner.

Key Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven track record of supply chain experience within FMCG Industry.
• Highly competent in MS Excel.
• SAP knowledge an advantage.
• Numerical and analytical skills essential.
• Flexible.
