The Disability Resource Centre (DRC) is a leading disability organisation operating in Birmingham, Solihull and the wider West Midlands.

Journey to Employment (J2E) is an exciting new pilot project being funded by DWP for an initial 12 months, to offer disabled people and those with long term conditions an alternative approach to employment support.

Full Time – 36.5 hours per week
Salary NJC SCP 23-27 £21,268 - £24,174 per annum
12 month fixed term contract
We are seeking x 3 enthusiastic and results-driven individuals - each working in one of the target areas of Dudley, Walsall and Wolverhampton – to deliver J2E Job Club courses; provide advice mentoring and support to clients; build jobcentre plus staff understanding of disability issues; run employer engagement events and provide in-work support to clients.
Candidates should have a lived experience or expert knowledge of the barriers disabled people and those with long term conditions face; experience of working in the fields of employment and training; a good knowledge of the employment and skills market and possess and NQF level 3 in advice and guidance and/or PTLLS Teacher Training qualification or equivalent.
