Manager 278 works
Large Building Contractor having secured a significant Hinkley Point related construction infrastructure project in Bridgwater is looking for a Manager to oversee roads and 278 highways works. Applicants will have previous background of managing small to medium sized adoptable roads at site manager/ Supervisor level.
The successful candidate will either be from an engineering or technical trades background and be able to demonstrate having undertaken similar work from contract start through to completion.
Duties will involve overseeing and managing specialist contractor gangs, overcoming technical queries, risk assessments method statements etc. and dictating and monitoring health and safety procedures and ensuring exemplary work practices are upheld to maintain the highest quality on site.
The person will be able to demonstrate high technical knowledge in roads construction, leading by example with excellent organisational and communication skills, able to work as the primary member of a management team.
