About Capita | Digital Software ServicesDigital Software Services Division (DSS) is one of six Divisions in Capita. The DSS Division is the second largest software company in the UK and has an annual turnover of cGBP500m which comprises a broad range of businesses operating across IT Services and Software markets. Key Responsibilities * Act as a senior member of the Divisional Finance team through proactively challenging and contributing to decisions regarding business and financial strategy with a focus on controlled growth of the Division * Responsible for consolidation of all Group and Divisional reporting requirements including monthly results and forecasting. * Take a lead role in the annual business planning process for the Division * Actively embed control processes and procedures through business partnering with the finance community, undertaking monthly balance sheet reviews, knowledge sharing on the finance SharePoint and standardise documents and templates. * Hold regular FC forums within the Division and attend monthly Divisional FC meetings to share knowledge and challenge the status quo with a view to implement action plans to improve processes and become more efficient. * Documenting and tracking key Divisional initiatives * Embed measures for tracking sales performance against financial and non-financial indicators to provide meaningful management information and support decision making * Lead on discussions with Group Tax and KPMG to derive an appropriate R&D tax assumption for management reporting * Build strong relationships with Group Accounts and the external Auditors to assist with compilation of stat accounts and company audits. * Mentor and develop direct reports; become a positive role model for the wider Division, leading by example. * Oversee and take the lead on finance integrations for all new acquisitionsEssential Experience/Skills * Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) * Strong people management capabilities with an ability to challenge and make decisions * Ability to manage own workload and prioritise effectively to ensure deadline are met * High level of attention to detail and accuracy * Confident and able to quickly establish solid working relationship with wide variety of stakeholdersWhat we hope you will do nextHelp us find out more about you by completing our short application process - click apply now.Capita operates as an equal opportunities employer and we welcome all applications regardless of gender, marital status, sexual orientation, pregnancy, race, colour, ethnic origin, nationality, religion or beliefs, disability, age, political opinions or trade union membership.Listen | Create | DeliverFollow Capita on Capita on Resourcing welcome applications from all suitably qualified people regardless of gender, race, disability, age or sexual orientation.Capita Resourcing is a trading name of Capita Resourcing Ltd.
