Senior Accountant/Client Manager

Public Practice Recruitment Ltd are pleased to be working with a key client in recruiting an experienced Senior Accountant to support their dynamic and growing team in a Client Manger capacity.

This Senior Accountant job in Blackburn is ideal for an ACCA/ACA qualified accountant (or QBE) with significant experience working in a public practice accountancy firm. It presents an ideal opportunity to join a successful and growing accountancy practice with excellent future career prospects. The role will involve working autonomously to manage a varied portfolio of clients, with a firm emphasis on SME's.

This fast-paced and ambitious Lancashire accountancy firm works with a portfolio of clients ranging from Start-ups, Charities, Family Owned business and Corporates with T/O of up to circa GBP30m. Services including Audit, Tax, Accounting, Corporate Finance and Business Advisory. The practice also boasts a strong internal training and development program.

The main responsibilities of this Client Manager Job include;

- Holding client meetings and ensuring that all their clients are receiving the full extent of the firms' available services
- Managing and reviewing the work of a team of accountants
- Delivering Audit, Tax & Accounting services to a mixed portfolio of clients
- Helping to manage the flow of work within the practice

The practice is very well established in the Lancashire area and has a strong reputation. The recent levels of organic growth are likely to continue, meaning access to a varied client base along with regular opportunities for promotion.
