Our client are global healthcare company who have an excellent history and are a leading name within their industry. They have an excellent opportunity for an Engineering Manager to join their organisation.
The main responsibilities include
- Provides leadership and direction for site Facility Engineering Supervisor and Process Engineers. Provide technical leadership on utilities and equipment trouble shooting.
- Implement and execute preventative maintenance programs and contract maintenance agreements to ensure continuous facility uptime.
- Maintain and update facility, equipment, and utility drawings, manuals, and system files to support cGMP compliance of the facility.
- Be responsible for the overall upkeep and security of the facilities and grounds.
- Manages local capital project and budget processes.
- Utilises various capital project delivery methods to meet or exceed expectations on project goals, budget and schedule.
- Collaborates with the Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Quality for the procurement, installation, start-up, validation and calibration of new and existing equipment.
The successful candidate will possess;
- Degree or equivalent in mechanical or chemical engineering
- Experience within a managerial role within a maintenance and manufacturing environment
- Experience in process validations, instrument calibrations and development of manufacturing procedures
- Experience within managing expenses and capital budgets.
- Excellent problem solving skills applied in a cGMP manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of HVAC principles, Purified Water systems, Computer controls and steam pressure systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects for preventive maintenance, equipment installation; project engineering and minor capital projects.
