As part of our manufacturing team at our bakery, you will be an integral part of our family to ensure our quality products are ready to be distributed to our customers.
Recipe for Success
This role reports in to the Assistant Engineering Manager and will have responsibility for directing the daily activities of a team engaged on breakdown and preventative maintenance for the plant, maximising plant reliability, performance, product quality and safety.
- Identifying the root cause of issues and undertaking planning and preventative maintenance in order for the department to achieve their kpis.
- Managing the daily operations, leading a team of Engineers and Contractors
- Co-ordinating, supervising and delegating the daily workload to ensure maximum efficiency of time and support for the site.
- Ensuring plant efficiency in accordance with all health, safety and quality requirements
- Liaising with the Production Management team in order to resolve daily engineering issues that may arise
Essential Ingredients
- A solutions driven person with a positive approach to solving problems
- Ability to drive, inspire and motivate a team
- Passionate about quality and best practice
- Continued personal development with an eye for developing and encouraging talent within your team
- Understanding of managing people and leading by example
- Experience of COSHH & HACCP
- Working knowledge of H&S audits and processes
- Programming skills in PLC (Allen Bradley) and SCADA
- Possess an Engineering Qualification such as HND, HNC, BTECH or equivalent
