Salary: £23,345 per annum following successful 6-month probationary period

 

Permanent - 37.5 hours per week

 

A leading social housing provider currently has an exciting opportunity for a Neighbourhood Officer within their office in Birmingham.

 

The role of Neighbourhood Officer is rewarding and varied, including tasks such as providing housing advice and dealing with anti-social behaviour. You will be an integral part of the housing team and neighbourhood, building good working relationships and gaining knowledge of the whole neighbourhood and not only the housing aspects.

 

Candidate Requirements:

The key knowledge, skills and behaviours required for this Project Worker role are:

 

  • Knowledge of housing legislation and housing management best practice
  • Experience of managing anti-social behaviour (asb) and/or complaint handling
  • Experience in working with vulnerable clients
  • Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Plans and prioritises effectively. Good time management and organisation skills
  • Uses Information Technology to self-administer and for effective communication
