Supply and Demand Planner
Bedfordshire
£37000 - £40000 + Benefits
A growing FMCG and Retail organisation is looking for a driven, dynamic and fast paced Supply and Demand Planner to be responsible for planning the supply of product from the Far East through optimising inventory requirements, whilst ensuring OTIF for UK Retailers. You will be pivotal to the growth of the business and an instrumental part of the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the end to end supply planning process to include maximising inventory level and product availability for c3000skus.
* Demand planning and forecasting interaction with UK retailers using EDI and SAP.
* Liaison with suppliers in the Far East.
* Track all movement of stock shipments for OTIF delivery to warehouse and customer, analysing KPI data to monitor performance against relevant agreed lead times.
* Inventory management and stock optimisation.
* Projects and system enhandcements.
Key Skills:
* Graduate calibre
* A strong understanding of Retail or FMCG supply chain with at least 3 years+ FMCG supply chain experience
* Experienced SAP user
* Highly computer literate - advanced excel
* Customer and Supplier focused - experience of working collaboratively with key retail customers and Suppliers
* Excellent communication and influencing to develop strong relationships internally and externally
* Able to prioritise and allocate time effectively
* Diligent in completion of tasks and projects
* Strong team player
* Highly organised and motivated
