Nursery Manager

Lilliput Village Nursery are looking for a Nursery Manager to join their team. The Nursery Manager will report to senior management and ensure high standards are maintained.

This full time post will require the successful candidate to work approximately 40 hours per week within the opening hours of 7:30am-6:30pm.

In addition to being enthusiastic and passionate about working with children and leading and supporting a team, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Achieving and maintaining high standards of care and education

• Ensure all Ofsted requirements, company policies and procedures and other legislative bodies are met

• Work alongside senior management to achieve high standards within setting

• Supervise, mentor and coach all staff

• Use software to ensure efficient nursery operation and statutory staffing compliance

• Work in partnership with parents and multi-agency

• Organise and devise staff training, parent evenings and open days in own time

• Contribute to marketing strategies to effectively maximise occupancy

Essential

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 Qualification (or equivalent)

• Two years post qualification experience

• Extensive Safeguarding Knowledge/experience

• Leadership experience

• Nursery software knowledge/experience

• Good people skills

Desirable

• Paediatric First Aid Certificate

• Designated Safeguarding Lead Certificate

• Show willingness to undertake further training
