Our Client based in Market Harborough are looking for a Multi skilled Building Services Engineer.

Dayshift 08.00 to 17.00hrs Monday to Friday

You will be responsible for the maintenance and safe running of all plant and assets of the manufacturing facility and responsible for all maintenance installation and project work.

The ideal Candidate will have the following Skills / Experience

Multi skilled Implementing a program to overhaul all plant.
• Fault finding on all mechanical breakdowns
• Installation of all new electrical systems
• Hard wired control system wiring and installation and fault finding
• Testing of all electrical plant
• Fault finding on control panels
• Fault finding, repair and servicing of saw systems
• Fault finding, repair and servicing of Drilling machines
• Fault finding, repair and servicing of punch and shear machines
• Fault finding, repair and servicing of Shot blast machine
Implementing a program to overhaul all plant mechanically and electrically
• Fault finding on all mechanical breakdowns
• Installation of all new electrical systems
• Hard wired control system wiring and installation and fault finding
• Testing of all electrical plant
• Maintenance of plumbing and plant pipe work
• Complete all electrical and mechanical maintenance of all plant
• Involvement in weekly safety meetings
• Implementation of Health and Safety on site
• Responsible for the smooth running and maintenance of all building services on site.
• Maintenance, fault finds and repairs of all air conditioning plant.
• Maintenance and servicing of high pressure steam boilers.
• Contact with suppliers for buying spares
• Producing risk assessments on plant.
• To liaise with store personnel to ensure all parts are on stock ready for overhaul and refurbish work
• Minimise production downtime
• Analyse, fault find, maintain and repair machinery to defined engineering standards
• Organise and carry out planned preventative maintenance
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
• Skilled in dismantling and assembly techniques. Hand fitting and bench work
• Trained in fault finding and repair of all mechanical aspects of the paint shop.
• Maikntenance of paint transfer systems, Spraying equipment Including mechanical faults.

Desirabe quilifications

• Welding and all plant fabrications
• City and Guilds (Apply online only) part 3 BS 7671:th Edition for electrical installation
• City and Guilds (Apply online only) inspection and testing of electrical equipment
• Air conditioning installation and service
• GENIE elevated platform and harness training
• Abrasive wheels part 1 and 2
• First aid
• Fork lift counterbalance licence
• Excel computing basic and intermediate appreciation
• Forklift truck licence
• In house crane licence
• IPAF licence
