A leading Tier 1 supplier requires a Project Leader - Special Vehicles to manage product development and launch for EDS systems for Automotive OEM clients. The Project Leader, based in Essex, will oversee technical design and ensure customer expectations and specifications are met including:
* Define detailed timing for each engineering release and review with programme team
* Prepare engineering project status information and present at internal and customer project reviews
* Lead team of EDS engineers and CAD designers to ensure SVO EDS projects are delivered
* Provide manufacturing plant with planned quantities for Pre-production phases
* Plan and co-ordinate Design Reviews at manufacturing plant
* Planning of engineering releases
The Project Leader will be degree qualified with extensive experience in the design and development of automotive wiring harnesses including:
* Extensive experience in the design and development of automotive wiring harnesses
* Proven ability to lead a team from both a technical & line management perspective
* Experience in project leadership
