Health & Safety / Construction Assessor / Trainer

This leading training provider is seeking to recruit an Assessor to deliver Construction Modern Apprenticeships throughout Scotland. They are interested in applications from experienced Assessors delivering work based qualifications in Construction at levels 2-5.

This position will also incorporate the role of OHS Assessor/IOSH Trainer. The successful candidate will be required to deliver Occupational Health & Safety S/NVQs and IOSH courses. They are interested in applications from experienced Assessors qualified at level 5 Diploma in Health & Safety and/or IOSH Grad membership.

Assessor Duties will Include:

- Ensuring successful working relationships with learners and employers
- Assessment and delivery of underpinning knowledge & performance indicators
- Deliver IOSH/SMSTS courses
- Ensuring equal opportunities
- Completing funding body administration
- Meeting and exceeding KPIs
- Attending standardisation meetings
- Promoting their services
- Providing daily, weekly & monthly updates on learner progression

Essential Key Skills and Experience Include:

- Sound, occupationally relevant experience
- Previous Assessment experience
- Occupationally relevant qualifications
- Assessor Award
- Qualified at level 5 Diploma in Health & Safety and/or IOSH Grad membership
- Previous experience in working to KPIs
- A clean & current driving license
- Previous experience in completing funding body compliance
