I am currently looking for an outstanding Deputy General Manager to manage and develop a care home team in the delivery of first class care and service. The role would be suitable for someone who is confident, has a good knowledge of the CQC and has effective leadership skills and someone who is capable of driving change. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be expected to deliver operational and commercial success in collaboration with the General Manager and deputise in the absence of the General Manager.

The fully CQC compliant nursing home is situated in the Gloucester area requires a Deputy Manager to assist the Home Manager in effectively leading a group of healthcare professionals who support vulnerable residents that struggle to complete their daily routines and who require expert nursing care. The successful person would need to be a qualified nurse with experience in the private sector ideally .Either an RGN or RMN qualification would be suitable for this role.

This medium sized nursing home requires you as a Deputy Manager to be able to provide a high standard of nursing care to their elderly residents during your time on the main floor, some of whom are suffering from Dementia, Old Age, Sensory Impairment and Physical Disability.

Job Requirements

- Nursing Qualification.
- NMC Registration - Active Pin.
- Experience working with the elderly.
- Experience producing well developed care plans.
- Experience of working with and mentoring a clinical team.
- Experience supporting newly-qualified nurses.
- Working knowledge of HR Process, health and safety legislation, grievance and disciplinary process and safeguarding meetings.
