Brightlife Vacancy - Marketing And Communications Assistant
(Part Time 21 Hours Per Week)
We have an exciting opportunity for an organised and creative marketing professional to help promote a Big Lottery funded ‘Ageing Better’ project working to reduce social isolation in West Cheshire.
Over the next three years, Brightlife will test (and learn from) a range of traditional and innovative campaigns targeting the most socially isolated whilst informing communities, families, carers, service providers and health professionals about the role they can play in helping to end loneliness.
Social isolation is everyone’s responsibility and we are all part of the solution.
We’re looking for someone with excellent copywriting and communication skills to encourage communities to take action and be good neighbours whilst challenging the negative perceptions of growing older.
You’ll need to be experienced in social media marketing and be familiar with Campaign Monitor, Wordpress and InDesign (or similar). Personable and confident, you will be comfortable working with a diverse range of people including partners, volunteers and community members.
In return, we offer great working conditions, free car parking, pension, a health benefit scheme, 25 days annual leave per year (plus bank holidays) [pro rata] and a salary of £20,188.35 per annum pro rata.
You will be employed by Age UK Cheshire, who lead the Brightlife partnership, and based at our offices in Hartford, Northwich. A full job description and application form can be found here.
You can request an application pack via e-mail by following the instructions at the bottom of this page.
Please note; applications should be made by completing an Age UK Cheshire application form to be received by the HR Department no later than 5.00 pm Tuesday 30th May 2017 and interviews will be held on Thursday 8th June 2017.
