What will the role of Project Delivery Engineer entail?

As a Project Delivery Engineer you’ll work closely with existing and new customers, supporting the implementation of D+H software solutions. You’ll be part of the Projects team and report directly to the UK Head of Projects and also the US Head of Projects. Duties will include, although not be limited to;

  • Ensuring project delivery work packages are delivered on time, to specification and within budget whilst minimising exposure to risk
  • Managing the solutions integration and software implementation process through all phases of project delivery
  • Installing and configuring systems, testing support, troubleshooting, resolving issues and client training
  • Providing regular reports on project delivery progress and open / outstanding issues
  • Managing issues and bridging knowledge of integration between Projects and Support teams
  • Maintaining up to date documentation of procedures and system configuration

What will I need to be considered for this Project Delivery Engineer role?

  • Technical expertise in the following;
    • Windows Server 2008 / 2012 administration and scripting
    • Red Hat Linux 6 / 7 or equivalent administration and scripting
    • TCP / Networking
    • Websphere MQ Server and Client
    • FTP / SFTP integration
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Superb organisational skills with ability to work well under pressure and strict deadlines
  • A strong technical background with excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively using own initiative

Salary:                          £45,000

Enhanced Benefits:       25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, private healthcare and pension scheme with 5% employer contribution after qualifying period

Working Hours:                         Full time, Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm.
