Project Manager

Our client is currently looking for a self-motivated and energetic Project Manager, with experience in managing the full implementation workplace projects, to join their busy London team. The role is varied and covers a number of disciplines, and will require serious commitment. Excellent IT and communication skills are a must, along with an interest in workplace design and new ways of working.

The right candidate MUST have the relevant Project Management qualification and minimum of two years' experience in Project Management within CAT B - interior refurbishment of workplace projects. The individual will support our team and manage a number of projects on the ground. The role will include day to day liaison with project teams in order to assist the development of our space management tools, project processes, office move & churn activities. Assist with management/reporting requirements and the delivery of the project to the required standard, on time and within budget. Assisting with technical solutions required on a day to day basis and to help the team to enhance project and business performance.

Candidates without Project Management qualification and experience within CAT B - interior refurbishment projects will NOT be considered, please ONLY apply if you meet those criteria.

Business Strategist PMs, IT & Software PMs or Procurement PMs need NOT reply.

Duties:

  • Taking and developing project brief in line with clients' requirements.
  • Project execution planning with costings & programmes for completion of project and specification of works.
  • Assisting with the organisation of documents for tender and advising on the appointment of contractors, designers and procurement routes.
  • Contract administration support throughout project execution phase.
  • Liaising with contractors, consultants and central service department advisors during the on-site construction period.
  • Involvement in the planning, implementation and management of moves.
  • Identifying and communicating with internal businesses throughout the project.
  • Liaison with approved suppliers for furniture and installation teams on site
  • Project Support & moves management out of hrs when req'd – flexibility in working to deliver ALL projects
  • Project support to all other members of the Projects & Space Planning Team.
