Who will I be working with?

Rees Developments are an established building contractor specialising in domestic work ranging from small-scale re-development to large, high specification new builds. Established in 2010 by a highly experienced and proactive management team with over thirty years’ experience, Rees Developments have a focus on offering a first class service backed by expert knowledge and outstanding workmanship.

So, what will the role of Joiner entail?

Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, as a Joiner you’ll take a hands on approach as part of a small team of skilled trade professionals and labourers, ensuring work on each site is completed on time and to the highest possible standards, whilst adhering to health and safety procedures. Tasks will include, although not be limited to:

• Working to detailed briefs for assigned work
• Undertaking both first fix and second fix joinery
• Assisting with organising and ordering of materials and labour as required
• Planning ahead and communicating updates to colleagues and customers

What will I need to be considered for this Joiner role?

• Proven experience within joinery
• Commitment and drive to complete projects within tight deadlines to a high standard
• Professional manner and positive can do attitude
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Possess own basic joinery tools
• Full UK driving licence

What will I receive in return?

Salary:                          £11 to £14 per hour (equating to £22,880 – £29,120), level dependent on experience

Other Benefits:              Company van after eight week probationary period

Hours of Work:             40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. Flexibility will be required to meet business and customer needs, including occasional evening / weekend work
