Tempus Talent Source is representing a local client who is looking for Customer Service Support Advisor in Northampton.
This is a premanent position for an experienced customer service individual with strong communication and excellent problem solving skills. It’s a very demanding role.
You will be dealing with suppliers/manufacturers.
Your daily tasks will involve:
- Communicating with consumers and suppliers
- Dealing with product warranty issues
- Working with engineers to diagnose and resolve faulties
- Providing excellent product service back up
- Arranging for required parts and servicing to be supplied
- Using product schematics and diagnostic routines
- Using own initiative
- Detecting and establishing what the product issue is
The successful candidate will:
- Have at least 2 years experience in similar role
- Have strong communication skills
- Have great experience in problem solving
- Have excellent organisational skills
- Have product servicing experience
- Be strong in their outlook and will have self-confidence as you will have to make difficult business based decisions and not necessarily a decision the customer will like.
- Need to be able to diagnose service issues over the phone or from video’s and resolve by ascertaining what parts are required or arrange for a 3rd party service teams.
- Need to be able to make their own decisions.
- Need to be interested in learning how all of the equipment works and is put together
This role requires a candidate to be IT literate and to have Excellent English, both written and verbal.
The hours of work are:
- 45 hours
- Monday - Friday
- 9am - 6pm
