Assistant Managment Accountant

The Role

Robert Half are currently recruiting for an International business based in Slough who are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team. Salary paying up to GBP30k with full study support (based on full time salary) plus benefits depending on experience

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for development and a varied role in finance.

The role consists of Management Accounts, Analysis and Financial Business Partnering (this is a first step into management)

Your Profile:

We are looking for a Part Qualifed ACCA/CIMA with a Finance related degree.

You will also need to have excellent attention to detail and good presentation skills.Previous experience working in a similar role is required.

The role:

The primary purpose of the job is to support the Group Finance Manager in providing high quality financial and management information, and ensure the team objectives are achieved, including month-end reporting and accounts, weekly cashflow forecasting, supervision of purchase ledger and cash, and maintaining and improving internal procedures.

Job specifics:

Financial Reporting:

?? Assisting with preparation of monthly accounts

?? Provide monthly cost analysis reports to management

?? Detailed analysis of computer maintenance & other overhead costs

?? Assisting with budgets and forecasts with corporate cost centre managers

?? Balance sheet reconciliations

?? Year end accounts and provision of audit information

Other:

?? Management of 2 team members with responsibility for purchase ledger, cash management, VAT, employee expenses and P11Ds

?? Co-ordination of weekly and daily profit reporting

?? Analysis of P&L accounts for corporation tax computation

?? Customer credit investigations with department heads CRITICAL COMPETENCIES

?? Possess full skills and knowledge of a part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA)

?? Wide experience of responsibilities, with ownership of key processes.

?? High level analytical skills including advanced use of Excel spreadsheet applications up to Pivot tables and V look ups?? Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.?? High attention to detail and ability to work accurately to tight deadlines.?? Willingness to exceed expectations, and to develop and motivate staff, leading by example.
