JOB TITLE: Sexual Violence Engagement Manager
BASED: In specialist sexual violence support services and other offices
across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire
HOURS: 37 Hours per week
SALARY: £38,538 - £42,492 per annum
TERM: Two Year Fixed Contract
Are you passionate about helping survivors of childhood sexual abuse access the support they need?
Do you have proven influencing and negotiating skills?
Are you able to work with vulnerable people as well as work strategically with public sector decision makers to effect change?
We are seeking an experienced Sexual Violence Engagement Manager to enable adult victims ("survivors") of child sexual abuse which took place in institutional settings to communicate with support organisations to ensure survivor voices are heard and used to develop improved service delivery.
You will be working with survivors and specialist support services to identify the challenges faced by survivors in accessing public services and work strategically with senior decision makers and commissioners to improve service delivery.
You will need strong partnership skills as well as sensitivity and insight into the needs of survivors.
The post is funded by Nottinghamshire County Council, Nottingham City Council and the Nottinghamshire Police and Crime Commissioner.
