The Catering Department at Sidney Sussex College is responsible for providing a comprehensive catering service to fellows, alumni, students and staff and to conference and bed and breakfast guests. Service includes formal dining arrangements and cafeteria provision, as well as high end functions, feasts, weddings and occasional outside catering. The College seeks to fill the following vacancies as part of its busy operation:
SENIOR CATERING ASSISTANTS
Salary £18,720 pa; 40 hours per week
To assist the Hall Manager and Assistant Hall Managers in organising the work of the catering team, the ideal candidate will be motivated, efficient and set high professional standards. A working knowledge of food hygiene standards would be an advantage. Flexibility is essential as well as good communication and customer service skills.
