Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical/Fabrication)

GBP35,000 to GBP37,000 (GBP43,000 OTE)
Maintenance Engineer required for a long-established company who can offer managerial progression for the successful candidate due to continued growth.
The role would suit a mechanical biased engineer who has basic electrical skills and experience of carrying out maintenance in ANY manufacturing setting. This role will not be suited to an engineer who is used to a clean or clinical environment, you must be willing to work amongst dust. Candidates from a heavy engineering, recycling or plant background are encouraged to apply.
The role will primarily involve pre-planned maintenance on shredders and recycling machinery, including lubrication schedules, inspection, changing of worn parts and adjustments to machinery to maximise outputs. Occasional reactive breakdown will be required. The role will also require welding and fabrication on mobile plant.

* Ideally hold a mechanical qualification
