Vehicle Repair Operative
Due to significant growth, a unique opportunity has become available for a number of Production Operatives working on a permanent basis with one of the most important globally recognised Automotive manufacturing companies based in the UK in Swindon, Wiltshire.
Working within the FQA department, you will be responsible for ensuring low stock levels of rework vehicles from the production line by carrying out our repair works within frame, weld and paint.
This shift has been created to ensure that production levels are maintained, that stock levels are reduced and that the highest quality products are delivered to customers.
Shift pattern will be either of the following:
*Rotating early (5.30am to 2.30pm) and late (3.30pm to 12.30am) shift pattern
*Fixed night (10pm to 06.10am) shift pattern
This is a permanent opportunity, subject to 6 months' probation.
Assessments and interviews will take place w/c 05 June.
To be considered for the position of Vehicle Repair Operative you must:
*Have a keen eye for detail
*Previous experience of working on vehicles, either mechanically, paint or body shop.
*A genuine interest in vehicle and/or mechanical repair
*Excellent attention to detail
*Quality orientated work ethic
*Full valid EU Driving Licence
It you have the following this would be an advantage:
*A recognised qualification in motor vehicle repair
*A recognised qualification in mechanical/electrical engineering
*A recognised qualification in body shop re-finish materials and repair techniques
*Demonstrable experience in paintless dent removal

You will have a positive can-do attitude where you are self-motivated and enthusiastic. You will be driven, with a desire to progress as well as being flexible in your approach to working hours to ensure delivery.
