This is an opportunity to join a leading global provider of fleet management software with a portfolio of enterprise-level clients. They are currently looking for an experienced and passionate PR and Communications Manager to generate and distribute their marketing communications globally.

As the Communications Manager, you will be part of the Global Marketing Team and responsible for the implementation of the PR and Communication strategy across the globe to drive sales and brand awareness.

You have a keen interest and knowledge of PR, Content Marketing and Social Media, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

With an eye for what makes a good story, you can compose and convey the message to their target audience. With a strong personality, you can also effectively handle relationships with international offices', agencies and the press, to deliver marketing communications across various global channels.

Responsibilities

- Develop and manage strong media relationships with key press contacts across the globe
- Liaise with regional teams to generate ideas for stories, and then position releases to the local market
- Compose and distribute press releases and feature copy, and pitch to targeted media outlets in the UK, US, Europe and Australia
- Produce and schedule monthly customer email newsletters
- Write and edit blogs, whitepapers and other content marketing and upload it onto the website and other digital platforms
- Organise interviews with clients and industry associates to produce case studies and video testimonials
- Be the key contact for PR enquiries from the media and other organisations, dealing with them via telephone, email and in person as appropriate
- Be responsible for analysing and providing a monthly status update on media coverage, including social media, and sharing this activity with the directors
- Discover new and relevant industry awards and submit entries on behalf of the company
- Work with the Marketing department on market research; and use the findings to assist with the development of PR strategies and campaigns
- Manage and expand the press & media database
- Develop new ideas to promote the company's activities with a positive influence within the industry.
- Work with 3rd party suppliers to effectively translates and localise global PR and marketing content, whilst ensuring timely completion
- Create email campaigns and manage mailing lists

Essential Skills required
- Understanding of content marketing
- Understand of using Social Media for Business
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills
- Outstanding communication skills with a keen eye for detail
- Strong organisational skills
- Experience with dealing with clients
- Experience in working with media and Press
- Good IT Skills
- A minimum of three years marketing or PR experience (exceptional graduates would be considered)
- Degree level or equivalent education
