Community Payback Placement Case Manager

Job purpose

Work collaboratively with Supervisors and Placement Coordinators to ensure that the Order of the court is delivered. Motivate the service user and enforce the unpaid work (UPW) order to ensure it is completed within 12 months. Complete risk of harm assessments and share relevant and timely information with colleagues and other agencies such as the police and social services to manage any risk. Deliver the Interchange model by using the work placement as a vehicle to develop skills and encourage positive behaviours of service users

Responsibilities

To work with service users with the aim of delivering the order of the court using CP as a means to enable change with service users to prevent further offending and protecting the public. Manage UPW orders to ensure the hours are completed as expected by the courts and challenge behaviour and enforce the order with the courts where relevant. To work collaboratively with placement coordinators and supervisors to ensure the correct placement to encourage compliance, engagement and access to local networks

Knowledge skills & experience

Literacy and numeracy at VQ level 2 or equivalent. A minimum two years driving experience a full driving licence (no bans or convictions). Ability to enforce standards and procedures and manage your own workload whilst prioritising a range of tasks. Good administration skills are essential as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and using own initiative. Use of IT is also essential as well as experience of dealing with difficult people and situations.

Person

Must be flexible self-motivated and enjoy working using your own initiative. Must be able to follow instructions and procedures and be comfortable working on their own and with a team. Will have the confidence to be able to challenge difficult and prosocial behaviour. Will be able to work some weekends on a duty cover basis and be able to motivate people to achieve a shared goal.

We are looking for a Case Manager within Community Payback to work from multiple sites in the Great Lincolnshire area. This role is offered on either a full/part time permanent basis.
