Community Payback Placement Supervisor

Job purpose

Work collaboratively with Case Managers and Placement Coordinators to ensure that the Order of the court is delivered and unpaid work (UPW) is completed within 12 months. Contribute to risk of harm assessment by sharing relevant timely information with Case Managers. Deliver the Interchange model by using the work placement as a vehicle to develop skills and encourage positive behaviours of service users

Responsibilities

To work with service users with the aim of delivering the order of the court using CP as a means to enable change with service users to prevent further offending and protecting the public. Supervise groups of service users on work placements. To complete after every session observations of skills used by service users on work placement as part of the Record of Achievement. To work collaboratively with peer mentors to encourage compliance, engagement and access to local networks

Knowledge skills & experience

Literacy and numeracy at VQ level 2 or equivalent. A minimum two years driving experience a full driving licence (no bans or convictions). Ability to enforce standards and procedures and the supervision of others carrying out practical tasks. Passing instructions on to others and ensuring they are duly completed. To work collaboratively as part of a team and on own initiative. Knowledge of Health and Safety and will have or be willing to train towards a First aid certificate. Use of IT also essential as well as experience of dealing with difficult people and situations.

Person

Must be flexible self motivated and enjoy working using your own initiative. Must be able to follow instructions and procedures and be comfortable working on their own and with a team. Will have the confidence to be able to challenge difficult and prosocial behaviour. Will be able to work weekends and be able to motivate a team of people to achieve a shared goal. Should have practical skills that can be passed on and taught to others.

We are looking for a Community Payback Placement Supervisor to work from multiple sites in the Great Lincolnshire area. This role is offered on a either a full/part time permanent basis.
