Care Assistant - Day & Night Shifts

Scope of Post:

A Care Assistant is required to work with other members of staff to help provide the individual care required by each resident, making sure that each one retains as much dignity and individuality as possible.

Under supervision, and within the limits of personal experience and knowledge, a care assistant plays a major part in creating a person-centred, happy and caring atmosphere. He / she is involved with a wide range of duties as determined by the individuals care plans and is expected to adopt a totally flexible approach and attitude to the challenges of the post.

The posts are for individuals with an interest in working with elderly people with dementia in a person centred care environment who have integrity, compassion, respect for others and treat people with dignity.

Experience and an NVQ level 2 in health and social care is preferred, however full training can be provided for the right candidates.
