Business Development Manager
We are looking for an ambitious, target driven, strong communicator to join the External Sales team of our Contract Electronics Manufacturing business. The successful applicant will be entered in an environment in which they are exposed to a diverse range of industries including Aerospace, Defence, Security and Energy, and Medical to name but a few. The ideal candidate must have strong demonstrable experience working to, and achieving, sales targets. Knowledge of PCBs / electronics is desirable. Required skills include an excellent level of:
Communication and interpersonal skills
Customer focus
Presentation skills
Project management skills
Knowledge of contract Electronics Manufacturing
The main duties of the Business Development Manager include:
Servicing & developing key existing accounts
Generating new sales leads
Developing existing and new market sectors
Following up sales leads
Conducting presentations to existing and potential customers
Supporting exhibitions & events
Ensuring that sales targets are met
Managing the annual sales forecast
Providing regular reports & maintaining status register
Extensive UK travel will be required and occasional international travel may be required.
