We are recruiting for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to work for a manufacturing organisation located in York.
THE DUTIES:
Your duties will include:
* To maintain and improve the quality system.
* Provide support and guidance to all production and admin departments.
* Organise and and oversee internal and external audits.
* Liaise with customers on quality issues and visit as necessary.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
* Experience of supplying to the automotive industry is essential.
* Knowledge of TS16949, ISO9001 is essential.
* Excellent communication and organisation skills.
THE HOURS:
You will work 38 hours / week (plus overtime as necessary.
THE SALARY:
You will earn a basic salary of between GBP40,000 to GBP42,000 (depending on skills and experience), plus outstanding benefits
