SEND TA / Special Needs Teaching Assistant
A long term placement has become available for an SEND TA / Special Needs Teaching Assistant in Stoke.
Are you an enthusiastic and passionate individual? Do you have experience within a special needs school or care setting? Do you hold a Child Care NVQ, BTEC or CACHE?
A fantastic opportunity has become available in a lovely special needs school in Stoke. They are looking to appoint an SEND TA / Special needs Teaching Assistant with experience working with children with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) to start work in September. The post is a long term placement with the potential of permanent employment for the right SEND TA / Special Needs Teaching Assistant. The school requires an experienced professional who displays a caring and nurturing approach in the classroom and has a passion for supporting young people with learning difficulties.
In return, the SEND TA / Special Needs Teaching Assistant will have the opportunity to work with a supportive and dedicated team in an extremely encouraging environment.
Teaching assistants without Childcare qualifications are also encouraged to apply.
Applicants need to have:
* A childcare qualification or significant experience working alongside children/adults with special educational needs
* Knowledge of National Curriculum
* A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with
