Admissions Assistant

Brighton College has an exciting opportunity for an Admissions Assistant to join the team based in Brighton. You will join us on a full time, temporary contract for the period of 29th August 2017 to 15th December 2017 and will receive a salary of £5883.75 plus a £500 bonus upon successful completion of the contract.

Applications are invited for a responsible and organised Admissions Assistant to provide administrative support to the Registrar and Pupil Admissions team in our leading independent school in Brighton. 

This is a temporary role from 29th August 2017 to 15th December 2017 and is a varied and confidential position where flexibility is key.

Working hours will be 8.30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, (37.5 hours per week) plus 2 Saturday mornings.

Responsibilities of our Admissions Assistant

- Inputting potential pupils’ details onto the database, and producing reports, as necessary.

- Mailing of prospectuses and additional information.

- Advising parents by telephone on admissions procedures to all three schools of Brighton College, including scholarship opportunities.

- Organising dates for visits.

- General filing.

- Assisting in the preparation and organisation of assessment days.

- Attendance at Open Mornings/Exhibitions

Skills needed to become our Admissions Assistant

- Excellent communication skills

- An enthusiasm for achieving targets

- An ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills

- Administrative skills

- Good IT literacy
