Hospitality chain with growing number of locations across the UK are looking for a Purchasing Manager to join the team in a brand new capacity. Having quickly developed their brand and point of difference within the hospitality market, the organisation are proud to offer customers 100% organic or fair-trade food and beverage options. Supporting the Managing director and working with operations across the business you will ensure the right suppliers are bought in according to plans for new product develoment. We are searching ideally for a candidate who has already gained experience within FMCG or Hospitality industry who understands consumer driven market, ideally with food & Beverage purchasing experience.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Making sure the organisation has agreed the best possible commercial terms
* Building strong collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
* Ensuring profit is maximised through purchasing products and ingredients for right price, although not decreasing in quality
* Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and putting contracts out for tender.
* Budget Setting
* Managing all stock levels and working with third-party suppliers to ensure waste limited
* Producing forecasts and stock holding figures to help the team manage stock level
* Market trend analysis and reporting on behalf of the department and presenting the findings and conclusions to the necessary parties.

Experience Required:

* Experience from another hospitality of FMCG company - ideally for NPD
* Food & Beverage purchasing and understanding waste / shelf-life etc
* Buying Consumables
* Experience managing budgets
* Advanced level of MS Excel skills
