Brighton College has an exciting opportunity for an Admissions Assistant to join the team based in Brighton. You will join us on a full time, temporary contract from 1st August 2017 to the beginning of October 2018 and will receive a highly competitive salary of £20,400 per annum.
Applications are invited for a responsible and organised Admissions Assistant to provide administrative support to the Registrar and Pupil Admissions team in our leading independent school in Brighton.
This is a temporary role from 1st August 2017 to the beginning of October 2018 (although there is some flexibility on the end date) and is a varied and confidential position where flexibility is key.
Working hours will be 8.30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week), plus 6 Saturday mornings.
Responsibilities of our Admissions Assistant
- Inputting potential pupils’ details onto the database, and producing reports, as necessary.
- Mailing of prospectuses and additional information.
- Advising parents by telephone on admissions procedures to all three schools of Brighton College, including scholarship opportunities.
- Organising dates for visits.
- General filing.
- Assisting in the preparation and organisation of assessment days.
- Attendance at Open Mornings/Exhibitions
