Our client is a one stop shop for van conversions from camper vans to race vans, and anything in between. They are under new ownership and are searching for a highly motivated individual to run the day to day administration and operation of the office and provide key administrative tasks. You will a key employee for the company and will be involved with planning, stock control and general support of the team.

Main Role Outlined

You will be a motivated Administrator, good at coordinating and happy to be an all rounder. If you are looking for a challenge within a small, busy environment then this role would be ideal. Can you bring organisation and calm to a busy team? Can you be the right hand person for a young, enthusiastic Director? 

The right candidate will get involved with everything, from answering the phone to dealing with customers and managing expectations. A key part of this role will be control stock, input to an accounts/CRM package whilst helping to plan forthcoming schedules of work.

You will be comfortable to manage and help develop systems and processes. The role will require a driver’s licence as you may even deliver and collect from local suppliers across South Yorkshire as and when necessary.

This is a very varied role with lots of things to learn and get involved in. 

Your Responsibilities

  • To make Reception welcoming for Customers
  • To answer telephone calls, emails and take deliveries
  • To update customers and make call backs
  • To arrange shipping of packs to customers
  • To arrange orders, coordinate and maintain stock levels with the team
  • To maintain efficient filing systems and update planners and reports as necessary
  • To support marketing activities including updating Social Media
  • To input into accounts/CRM package
  • To supply quotations and revisions to customers
  • Check and log time cards and general staff liaison
Your Qualifications
  • Administration experience
  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office and Quickbooks or similar accounts package
  • Organised and methodical
  • Able to manage and prioritise their own workload  
  • Happy to learn new tasks
  • Able to work effectively alone and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
