This is an outstanding opportunity for an analytical professional with a background of working with usability research methods to take on their next challenge with a leading name in the holiday rentals business.
Our client’s websites help customers to rent and find more than 105,000 properties in over 500 destinations worldwide. In this exciting role, you’ll have the chance to play a key role in the future direction and growth of these websites by providing in-depth user insight.
As a UX Researcher, you will help to provide valuable insight into the behaviour and experiences of users of our client’s leading websites.
Working with teams of Designers, Engineers and Marketers, you will communicate the behaviours and motivations of users to identify improvement opportunities and develop new features. The insights you provide will drive future design improvements and improve the usability of our client’s websites and other digital applications.
Specifically, your duties will include:
- Working with the Digital Optimisation Manager to create a strategic roadmap of analysis and testing
- Co-ordinating usability and user-testing at various stages of product development
- Designing and leading usability studies, interviews and surveys
- Analysing user behaviour through website analytics, online experiments, benchmark studies, surveys and more
- Delivering exciting and engaging presentations about your findings
Interested? To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Proven experience of website and customer analytics software and interpretation
- Experience of using a variety of usability research tools and methods
- A full understanding of the fundamentals of online marketing, including search, affiliate, email, social and display marketing
As a UX Researcher, you must be a creative thinker with strong communication, team work and problem solving skills. An analytical approach is also key.
While not essential, experience of journey mapping ethnographic research, personas development and CX measurement in a digital environment would be beneficial to your application. Knowledge of user-centred design best practices and principles would also be advantageous.
