Website Administrator

This company, suppliers to commercial marine, leisure marine and aquaculture markets, is actively looking to recruit an experienced Website Administrator to join their Group Marketing department, based in their Inverness Headquarters.

This role, which reports to the Group Marketing Manager, will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running, continuous development and any ongoing improvements of their ecommerce and brochure websites. You will be part of an energetic and enthusiastic Marketing team embarked on a 5-year strategy to support the profitable growth of sales across the group.

Scope:

- Source product information/content and accurately update across their multiple websites
- Maintain content managed areas with appropriate copy and images
- Manage website configuration and parameters
- Ensure smooth operation of integration with Orderwise stock management system
- Investigate and report any operational/technical issues
- Scope, test and deploy functional projects /improvements to website
- Liaise with ecommerce agencies and internal departments regarding the day to day management of the website
- Evaluate approaches and strategies to improve website sales conversions and customer engagement
- Liaise with B2B clients to meet bespoke requirements around system integrations and pricing
- Assist in customer technical enquiries
- Assist sales team with web order management
- Assist Marketing Manager with implementation and supporting of campaigns
- Assist Marketing Manager with investigation, evaluating new ways of generating additional traffic/orders

Essential:

- Previous experience of website and e-commerce CMS
- Must be a confident user of Adobe Photoshop with previous experience
- Understanding of order management/customer fulfilment in an e-commerce context
- Computer literate and understanding of basic web technologies (FTP, browsers, basic HTML, data files)
- An understanding of Google products such as Search Console, Google Analytics and Adwords
- Sound understanding of SEO techniques and strategies to achieve satisfactory organic search engine growth
- Highly organised, focused, communicative with good collaboration skills and ability to self-motivate and plan effectively.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
- Able to perform calmly under pressure with conflicting demands; must be able to prioritise conflicting tasks to achieve tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication

Desirable:

A knowledge of aquaculture, commercial or leisure marine related activities is desirable but not essential

In return for working a 40 hour week, this company offers a competitive salary, staff discount and a contributory pension scheme. The salary offered will reflect the experience and knowledge that the candidate can bring to this excellent opportunity but will be in the range of £18,000 - £22,000.
