Reporting to: Commercial Sales Manager

Locations: Middlesbrough TS3 8AX & Gateshead NE8 2TZ

The Motor Group is a multi-franchise motor dealer group based in the North East of England. A family owned company having had its roots in the region for over 100 years, it now operates out of 6 locations in the Tyne Tees area. We are looking for two experienced Commercial Fleet Sales Executives to join our busy Ford Commercial Sales departments at our Middlesbrough & Gateshead dealerships.
The Commercial Fleet Sales Executives will be responsible for maximising Commercial Fleet Sales for the business. The ideal candidates will be highly motivated, customer focused individuals who have a proven track record in fleet business development.

Main duties:

* Responsible for developing and maintaining a relationship with clients which will deliver sales at both a local and national level
* Selling new and used commercial vehicles both over the phone and face to face with customers
* Selling the full range of products and services associated with the Ford Commercial Vehicle Range
* Carry out sales and handover processes
* Contact prospects to achieve appointments and meet targets through cold calling and telephone
* Negotiate profitable sales in conjunction with the Sales Manager to retain maximum profit
* Build effective relationships internally and externally
* To actively record all customer data on the dealer management system
* To attend training on a regular basis to maintain product knowledge

Essential Skills & Experience:

* Previous fleet sales experience or local business specialist experience
* A current driving licence
* Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to persuade and negotiate
* Ability to organise and prioritise own workload with minimal supervision
* Excellent administration skills

The role is full time and permanent working Monday to Friday. In return you can expect OTE's of £35,000. Other benefits include a company car, company pension, company discounts and free life assurance.
