RESEARCH EXECUTIVE
Our Client is one the leading providers of television viewing figures to UK and International broadcasters, US studios and producers.
They work for all the major UK broadcasters including BBC, ITV , Channel 4 Sky and BT as well as US studios such as Warner Bros International television, A&E and others.
We are looking for a research executive to join their regular reporting team. This is an exciting role where you will be working directly with top UK broadcasters running their regular reports as well as servicing their adhoc needs.
The successful candidate will have an eye for detail and accuracy as well as a good numeracy and data presentation skills. They will have good working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel with:
A proven ability in extracting, interpreting and presenting data
Excellent storytelling skills and ability to generate powerful insights
Data visualisation skills
Strong application in IT with specific strengths in Excel, PowerPoint and SPSS
High level of numeracy with advanced statistical abilities
Good communication skills and experience of working collaboratively in teams
A proactive work ethic and analytical mindset
Qualifications required
3 A levels or equivalent
A University Degree in Maths , Statistics, Computer Science or Psychology
Knowledge of Microsoft Access
Some experience of writing code in VB or other computer languages
Preferable Qualities and experience
Passion and interest in the broadcasting industry, and specifically measurement of TV programmes/advertising content
Interest in the challenges around data capture and how it is changing the way organisations can communicate with customers
Work or experience in the media industry
