Childrens Residential Waking Night Support Worker

***PERMANENT WAKING NIGHT RESIDENTIAL CHILCARE WORKER***

Based in Wigan the shifts start at 10.30pm finish at 07.30 am

Key responsibilities

·        Be first point of contact for young persons social worker

·        Providing emotional and social support

·        Implement and maintain clear and consistent boundaries

You will need to be organised and tolerant to deal with challenging behaviour and have the communication skills to build relationships with young persons

Must be willing to work toward a QCF level 3 in Health and Social Care: Children and Young People

Driving Licence desirable but not essential

Must have a clear DBS (portable DBS’s will be accepted otherwise a fee of £56.50 payable by the applicant)
