New opportunity not to be missed! Lancaster City Council has a unique opportunity available for a Spa Manager to join the management team. The role is a full time, permanent position offering a salary of £22,658 to £27,668 per annum plus benefits.

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and skilled individual to manage the brand new and exciting Spa facility at the recently developed Salt Ayre Leisure Centre. You will be results focused and an enthusiastic individual with a desire to develop and contribute to the development and continuing success of the Spa Facility at Salt Ayre Leisure Centre.

What are the responsibilities of the Spa Manager?

You will drive and lead the operational and financial direction of the Spa ensuring complete viability, maximising all opportunities and resources. You will manage a small beauty therapist team and work with the management team within the centre to ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained.  We expect you to be able carry out treatments and services to the highest possible standard to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and retention and for you to lead your team by example.

What do we look for in a Spa Manager?

You must have proven experience of providing exceptional customer service within a Spa environment and experience of working within a Spa/beauty salon environment within a managerial role. Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation relating to the operation of Spa and Beauty treatments is essential.

Hours of work:

Hours of work are 37 per week on a rota basis, working 5 days out 7 to suit the needs of the business. This will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
