Salary: Up to £42,000 plus Benefits

Job Role: Permanent, Full Time - Rotating Shift Pattern

The company is a subsidiary of a $1Billion pa turnover, globally renowned Gaming Corporation. Their purpose-built, state-of-the-art printing facility in Leeds supplies lottery scratch card and pre-paid telephone card products to clients worldwide.

A vacancy has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering department. The primary function of the team is to support the Production Department throughout the provision of planned and daily maintenance, and technical advice on a range of bespoke web and sheet fed printing machinery. The development of new equipment and processes as well as the maintenance of Company properties also form part of the overall departmental responsibilities.

The engineering department currently operates a rotating shift pattern, with a rostered call-out system.

Key Requirements:

• Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 17th Edition qualification.
• Previous experience of working in an Electrical Engineer capacity in a manufacturing environment, and proficiency in PLC Control and Variable Speed Motor Controllers.
• The ability to use your own initiative to solve problems, and to challenge the 'status quo'.
• A self-motivated attitude and a proven commitment to seeing a job through to its conclusion to maintain production.
• A flexible approach to your work, in terms of production and maintenance demands as well as continuous improvement methods.

Desirable Requirements:

• Print or converting machinery
• Siemens and Mitsubishi controllers
• Project management
• Machine building
• CAD electrical drawing
• PUWER risk assessments
