Robert Half are excited to be partnering with an established, highly successful global telecommunications company based in Hemel Hempstead. This semi newly created Finance Manager role is perfect for a candidate that is looking for a challenging new role.

Scope and responsibilities

This role presents an excellent opportunity for an analytical individual to join an exciting and dynamic business leading the financial and management reporting of the Group's largest division.

It is a stand-alone role reporting into the central group based overseas. It is real opportunity to build your own processes and reports, to support the senior management of the division.

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for all elements of the UK company accounts including full production of monthly management reports, statutory reports and tax compliance. Additional duties will include cost control, detailed variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting and process improvement, whilst also being crucial support for management information to support executive business decisions.

- You will be organised, resilient, have a methodical problem solving mind-set and ability to build strong relationships across the business
- A strong communicator with the ability to listen carefully to others.
- Ability to work on own initiative, without close supervision and a team player.
- Good oral and written skills.
- Strong analytical skills and procedural thinking approach.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desired
- VAT experience is essential, Corporation Tax knowledge is desirable
- Advanced Excel skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 preferred but not essential

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

As required from time to time by the business. One day per week to be spent at their other site in Colchester.

Salary & Benefits

This Finance Manager role is paying between GBP45,000 to 50k per annum package which includes pension, BUPA, Life Assurance, free parking and other company specific. There is also flexi time on offer.
