For 70 years my client has proudly designed and manufactured cutting edge, stylish, high quality industry leading products. They currently seek a Group eCommerce Merchandiser who will be responsible for the implementation and development of a premium ecommerce user experience across the Group customer`s websites, both pure players and multi-channel. You will work closely with the Group eCommerce Marketing Manager to help implement the Group`s global ecommerce proposition with the objective of increasing online sales, cross-sell and up-sell and customer service satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities will include:

- Responsible for managing content syndication tools
- Drive subsidiaries adoption
- Stay up to date with latest developments to improve retailer`s sales and build business case to introduce them.

- Co-definition of KPIs for Commercial teams on e-retailers key performance metrics
- Provide training to commercial teams on Retailers monitoring tools (i.e. BrandView)
- Actively participate in meetings with Key accounts.
- Create and automate reports/alerts on KPIs for commercial teams
- Audit the completeness, accuracy and presentation of product information on e-retailer sites
- Work with PIM manager to provide the correct assets in a timely manner to key accounts.
- Audit Search & Category placement of our products against competitors on retailer`s digital shelf and utilize insights to become market leaders.
- Audit Product Ratings & Reviews on key retailer`s site and report on insights to key internal teams (NPD, Commercial, GTM, Quality).

- Actively participate in Group & Local meetings with online retailers about marketing spend and promo planning.
- Drive adoption by subsidiaries making sure content is made available
- Co-define KPIs for online retailer`s marketing activities, advise and train commercial teams on how to best use their marketing and merchandising tools.
- Be the expert of the online retailer`s products, train commercial teams globally
- Stay up to date with promotional calendar and work with commercial teams to make sure our products are featured and get the right visibility

Qualifications & Experience:

- Combination of a strategic ecommerce approach with a hands-on-mentality
- Experience of working in a similar role (ideally for an international, B2C organisation) or equivalent
- Strong Customer focus mentality
- Strong focus on measurability of its own activities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively influence stakeholders in a global environment
- Very strong analytical skills with conversion rate optimisation experience and ability to spot the problem areas and create innovative solutions to improve the user experience.
- Willingness to travel Internationally if and when required by the business (up to 10% of monthly working hours)
- Good working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluency in another European language (preferably Italian) - desirable
- BA or BS degree in Digital Marketing or equivalent experience - desirable
- Professional qualification in ecommerce and/or content marketing - desirable
- Understanding and experience of CMS systems - desirable
