We are currently looking for individuals with strong communication skills and a passion for a customer service to join a busy Post Office in Heanor.

As a Customer Service Counter Clerk, you will assist with providing and promoting a wide range of products and services offered at a busy main Post Office whilst maximising on sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • GCSE Grade C or equivalent in Maths and English along with good keyboard and communication skills.
  • Ability work at pace whilst being accurate in a busy environment (preferably have cash handling experience)
  • Completing transactions in an accurate and timely manner to provide a positive customer experience.
  • Able to serve customers quickly and efficiently, ensuring they are fully informed of the relevant services on offer.
  • Patience and a helpful manner are welcome attributes.
  • Security procedures must be adhered to ensuring that a high level of security awareness is always observed.

Ideal Candidate

You will be someone with great communication skills and works well in a team, while being ready to roll up your sleeves and do what’s needed to give our customers great service.

Post office experience is preferred but is not essential as training will be given to the right applicant.
