Financial Controller/Director Designate
Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire
£50,000 - £60,000 per annum plus bonus
Specialist recruitment services SME is looking for a future Finance Director as part of its succession planning. Reporting directly to the MD, the successful candidate will be responsible for the whole accounting and finance function of the Company including:
- Managing a small timesheet invoicing/accounts dept. running both bespoke software and Sage Accounts.
- Profit and loss account budgeting and cashflow forecasting.
- Monthly management accounts and annual accounts preparation for external audit.
- Staff payroll and expenses administration.
- Contributing to technical areas, including IR35, onshore intermediaries and AWR.
- Managing external banking relationships.
Key requirements/attributes:
- ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified.
- At least 5 years' experience in Management Accounting.
- Some management experience.
- Relevant technical experience.
- Ambition to become FD.
