My Client is looking for a versatile individual to join their dynamic small business in Sandbach. My client is going through significant growth and is currently looking for a team player with experience of a purchase ledger role. This is permanent role with flexible working hours. The role is office based with train stations and car parking available on site.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the role will involve assisting the accounts department as necessary and providing any information required by the business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced candidate to join a friendly and enjoyable working environment.

Day to Day duties will include the following:
* Responsible for preparing BACS payments
* Generating coding and checking invoices
* Reconciling statements and dealing with all purchase enquiries
* Process a high volume of invoices (up to 250 per week), reconciling purchase orders to invoices received
* Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger
* Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
* Assist in the preparation of purchase summaries
* Preparing and scheduling supplier payment runs
* Resolving any supplier/invoice queries

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
* Accounts Payable experience
* Great interpersonal and communications skills
* Self-disciplined
* Good team working skills
* High level of accuracy
* An aptitude for IT - knowledge of software packages like Sage and Xero
* Timely processing and payment of invoices
* Excellent supplier relationships
